1. About PGNexus

PGNexus is a community-driven intelligence platform for the PostgreSQL ecosystem. We aggregate news, mailing list discussions, patch analyses, tech blog posts, and social media updates from the global PostgreSQL community into a single, searchable, bilingual interface.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in jurisdictions where required) to use PGNexus. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using PGNexus on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. User Accounts

Some features require a registered account. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain and promptly update your account information.
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with others.
• Notify us immediately at support@pgnexus.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PGNexus only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material (spam).
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of PGNexus, its servers, or any connected systems.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access PGNexus in a way that burdens our infrastructure, without prior written permission.
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any other harmful code.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of PGNexus or the data contained therein.
• Circumvent any technical measures we use to protect the platform.
• Harvest or collect contact information of other users without their consent.

5. User-Submitted Content

PGNexus allows users to suggest articles, submit URLs, and provide other content (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you:

• Represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
• Grant PGNexus a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and process your submission in connection with operating the platform.
• Understand that submissions are subject to review and may be declined or removed at our discretion.

You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights in your User Content. PGNexus does not claim ownership over content you submit.

6. Aggregated Third-Party Content

PGNexus displays aggregated content sourced from publicly available third-party sources, including the PostgreSQL mailing lists, RSS feeds, social media platforms, and news outlets. This content remains the property of its respective owners.

7. Intellectual Property

The PGNexus platform — including its design, logo, branding, original text, and software — is owned by PGNexus and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or publicly exploit any part of PGNexus without our prior written permission.

“PostgreSQL” is a trademark of the PostgreSQL Global Development Group. PGNexus is an independent community platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the PostgreSQL Global Development Group.

8. Privacy

Your use of PGNexus is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

PGNexus is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted, error-free service.

We do not warrant that: (a) the platform will meet your requirements; (b) it will be available at any particular time; (c) any errors will be corrected; or (d) the platform is free of viruses or other harmful components. Content aggregated from third-party sources is provided for informational purposes only.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PGNexus and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) PGNexus.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the platform.
• Any content obtained from PGNexus.
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PGNexus and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of PGNexus; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) your User Content.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PGNexus at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or that we believe is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use PGNexus ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of PGNexus shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at legal@pgnexus.com. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by emailing you. Your continued use of PGNexus after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
